I have contributed to the IRC for seven years after receiving a mailing from the organization. I read the material and was impressed that the administrative costs were kept low and their field work was impressive.
This year I received a personal phone call from a woman who was a refuge from the middle east and was able to settle in the US thanks to the IRC. A very nice personal touch.

I first heard about Help from a friend who lives in the area. I was so impressed by my friend's recommendation and the website materials that I have been a donor for several years. The shelter environment is a very positive one and I been able to recruit several other donors from my part of the country. I only wish that there was a similar group in Maryland.

Review for Life Unlimited of Virginia Inc, Rapidan, VA, USA
A terrific animal refuge for all sorts of animals; often the last resort for some abused and abandoned helpless ones. The director and staff go beyond all expectations to take care and provide love as well as food and medical care to those at the shelter. They help other rescue groups with animals who have run out of options. It truly is a wonderful caring shelter for these little creatures.
