Review for Unbound, Kansas City, KS, USA
I first heard of Christian Foundation for Children and Aging /Unbound approximately 25 years ago when two representatives for CFCA, ie: ( husband and wife,) came to our church to speak about the importance of sharing our blessings with others. The husband happened to be a math teacher I had in a summer school program which my parents enrolled me in many years previously when I was in high school. This man turned out to be one of the best teachers I ever had in all my educational years. Knowing he was endorsing this program, I had no reservations to sign up. Thank You Mr. R.
The many many letters and photos that I have received over the years from those that I have sponsored have been very touching to me and you truly know that your monthly support is really making a difference in individuals and family's, from education, food support, and many other programs that Unbound offers. Please know, Unbound is a nonprofit that you can truly trust and feel great about.
One of my favorite scripture passages is from 2 Corinthians chapter 9 verses 6-7 & 11-16.
"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. You should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver... You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and many will thank God for your gifts, which they receive from us. For this service you perform not only meets the needs of God's people, but also produces an outpouring of gratitude to God."
