Review for The Sato Project, Brooklyn, NY, USA
The Sato Project founder lives on my street and I can see how she has dedicated her life to the purpose of rescuing dogs on the island of Puerto Rico. Chrissy and her team work tirelessly on a daily basis to rescue dogs left on dead dog beach, dogs left abandoned, dogs in abusive or hoarder situations. Not only does the Sato Project rescue but they provide vaccination clinics and prior to COVID they were a big part of spayathon where they would provide free spay/neutering. The Sato Project also has a responsible vetting program before they let any dog be adopted. Vetting of the dogs from a health/vaccination perspective and vetting if the potential adopters. I have two rescues from the Sato Project. They were found abandoned in a box on dead dog beach as puppies. Now my Satos are on a beach again, but relaxing in the shade as part of their daily walks. I can’t think of a more worthy rescue organization than The Sato Project.
