On July 9th 2022, I adopted a kitten named Petey. I spotted him on Perfinder after searching for weeks for a blind kitten. I fell in love with his picture and personality description immediately upon reading about him and filled out his application late at night, not wanting to waste a minute. By the next morning, I was matched with him and by that weekend the meet and greet was set up. I drove 2.5 hours to get my hands on this baby and it did not disappoint. He was exactly as they described. I wanted a love bug and I certainly got one!
It was evident that they are very invested in their rescues. They follow-up and check in during the transitional period following the adoption and even request that you save their number so that you can continue to give updates on your new addition because once they are a part of the Rock n Rescue family, they remain part of the Rock n Rescue family. Also, many of the foster families who invested so much time and love into their health and well-being are also invested in these updates. Put simple, these animals are clearly loved long before they ever find their match with you.
My little guy was rescued from a high kill shelter in Kentucky and I am so grateful for the foster mom that cared for him and loved him. I also feel indebted to Rock n Rescue for matching me with him. He is that special to us! He is now “Lotus” and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect addition to our family or a better rescue to work with. Highly recommend.
