I own a small community paper in Citrus and Hernando County. I was fortunate enough to see a presentation about the The Priceless Journey at a local networking event. I was touched by the valuable message they bring to marginalized women in the community. I was also inspired by the way they present their mission. I feel that is important for the community at large to understand that the ladies these resources are created for did not get to the dark places they are in overnight. No little girl ever says I want to grow up and be trafficked or work in the sex industry. Unfortunately, it happens every day. Sadly, these ladies are often judged for their acts, but the journey that brought them there is rarely acknowledged. The Priceless Journey acknowledges their journey in a public forum, and that is powerful. When they present their mission, they are opening minds of the community members, the very ones who can embrace these marginalized women when they are ready to rise above their situation. After seeing their presentation, the Peddler’s Post is proud to say we have joined in spreading the word about The Priceless Journey in our monthly publications to help continue opening minds and gain further help for their cause.
