Last year, I needed to find a dress suitable for "cocktail attire" at an early fall wedding. I almost never go to events requiring "cocktail attire," so I wasn't excited about spending a lot on a dress I might wear once. My friend suggested I look at the Thrift Shop. So, I made my first trip to the new store. I found a dress I thought fit the occasion perfectly. It cost $10 and still had the original tags on it. Since then, I shop there regularly, and have found several items that make my summer wardrobe more fun. Most importantly, the work Assistance League does is so meaningful for our community, especially for the kids they reach.
