I was introduced to the Travis Manion Foundation in 2011 at a 9/11 Heroes run. When I got to the run, I was surprised to hear that Travis and I were from the same home town of Doylestown, PA and had both attended the Naval Academy. I immediately became more interested. Unfortunately, due to my career, family and normal "life" things, I would only find time to participate in the annual run. Things changed when I retired. Needing focus and having the desire to connect with fellow veterans, I applied for and was accepted into the TMF Spartan Leadership Program. Life changing program. Everyday I wake up with the intent to honor veteran's like Travis who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The Travis Manion Foundation has given me the opportunity and medium to do just that.
