As a result of being selected as a 2022 Award Recipient, I was placed at Jacob’s Engineering. During my time there, I learned what it truly takes to be an engineer of any kind and how important some things are. I learned that it is necessary to be ready at all times for anything and be eager to learn. My first week there, I learned computer dismantling! I really enjoyed my 6 week internship and am indebted to the AnnieRuth Foundation for giving me the tools I needed to be the leader I am today. I am truly grateful.
