Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Charity Navigator is not the place you want to go to check out a charity. Their information is hopelessly out of date.
Even the 990s of charities listed are years old, which there is no reason for. The IRS posts 990s constantly. CN holds itself up as the place to go for an honest look at a charity you may be considering. But it is completely out of touch with current information which makes it a misleading source of information. Use Best Non Profits or Guidestar instead.
