Review for Achieve Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, CA, USA
Our family would not have been able to have been able to experience being on the mountain without the scholarship and the generous support from achieve staff, who also helped provide some of the snow gear we didn’t have to borrow for the lessons.
When I picked them up after their second day of lessons, they were exhausted but incredibly happy. One of my sons was so proud of himself that he walked around the village with me for over an hour, sharing everything he’d learned and how accomplished he felt. My other son is already planning future snowboarding trips!
This entire experience has truly been a magical Christmas gift for our family, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the opportunity for ski lessons tailored to my neurodivergent children. Achieve Tahoe is remarkable— it not only provided the support they needed, but also set them up for success, which is something we don’t always find with other opportunities.
Review for KultureCity, Vestavia Hills, AL, USA
As a parent of a child with autism I love that they are not only spreading awareness but they are tangibly helping children with autism experience their communities. Having sensory kits at loud venues and sensory rooms to allow for children of autism to go see games and visit the zoo or have a meal out allows them and their families to do things all families do without a thought to all the items they will need to bring to keep their child safe and calm.
