I started out as a volunteer taking the men at No Longer Bound on hikes and while on those hikes I fell in love with the men. They became my friends. I am no longer a "volunteer". When I see the guys and take them on hikes now...I'm doing it as a friend, not as a volunteer. Our conversations are the most real, authentic conversations I have. I get so much out of our chats in the woods and on the van rides. They have made me a better Christian, husband, father and employer. NLB is a fantastic organization that literally saves lives. I'm honored to be part of it and the men's lives.
