I was introduced to Unbound at mass in 2002. I raised my hand when the visiting priest asked who would like to sponsor a child. I was handed a packet of information and a photo of an adorable four year old boy from Uganda, Paul. I sponsored Paul for the next 16 years. We exchanged many letters and photos and I watched him grow into a wonderful young man with a bright future ahead of him. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I now have four more sponsored friends in Kenya and Uganda and I am so proud of each one of them. I am so incredibly blessed to be connected to their lives in such an impactful way. You will never regret sponsoring a child through Unbound. I would encourage anyone to do it themselves.
