I first learned about The Cat Network shortly after I arrived in Miami-Dade County, around 2005. And they continue to help. I have also volunteered in various ways over the years. The Cat Network has always been enormously helpful in teaching me about living with and helping community cats, and also teaching how to get adoptable cats into loving homes. This is all done at a low cost (surgeries or basic cat care) or free (tons of advice). In addition to the animal welfare work, the Cat Network works hard to find funding & grants to keep the costs for cat caretakers low.
It is amazing what they accomplish as an all-volunteer organization, but that is because their hearts are in it for the cats.
