Review for Assistance League of Charlotte, CHARLOTTE, NC, USA
I joined Assistance League of Charlotte because of the Operation School Bell program. When I was a teacher in California, my students benefitted from this program through Assistance League of Los Angeles. Upon moving to Charlotte, I was trilled to learn we had an Assistance League chapter here! Our Operation School Bell program clothes thousands of children each year at over 40 different CMS schools. We provide brand new school uniforms, underwear, socks, shoes, and coats. Working closely with school counselors and social workers, items are distributed to students in need so they can stay in class with their peers. It's one of the most rewarding parts of my membership at Assistance League of Charlotte.

Assistance League of Charlotte provides multiple resources to local families. Clothing, food, kitchen supplies, scholarships, and the teen court program lift up our community. The volunteers work closely school and community leaders to determine needs as they arise and change.
