From the first time I saw the excellently produced, touching NPR documentary on the start of The Elephant Sanctuary, in Hohenwald, TN, through all its decades of dedicated hard work in service of providing comfort, health, and dignity to abused, captive elephants, along with its ongoing intelligent, professional, and endearing outreach to supporters and general public, I have been in awe of this successful animal rescue and educational organization. I wish every group, political or otherwise, were as compassionate and competent, smart with a good heart, as TES.
