This is a TRUE Sanctuary! They do not allow tourists to come near the elephants or take selfies with elephants, etc. I have supported this organization for many years, and The Elephant Sanctuary truly cares about and takes care of their elephants. I love it that they have an ele-cam, and that they give them fruit popsicles in summer and pumpkins in the fall, as well as Christmas and Birthday edible treats! I have read their newsletter for years, and I love to hear how an elephant is healing physically and emotionally after being rescued and brought to the sanctuary. Also, I love to read about the relationships between the elephants!
