Review for Joseph & Elizabeth Quansah Foundation, Auburn, AL, USA
I met Elizabeth Quansah several years ago through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Auburn University program. She is the director for the university's global outreach program and also teaches classes for OLLI students. Elizabeth's positive personality and her joy in giving back to the community is what made me keep signing up for her classes. When Elizabeth, and her husband Joseph, started their foundation in 2019 I was happy to contribute to their cause. I believe that everyone should have access to higher education so they can follow their dreams. This year I was asked to be the volunteer Board secretary for the foundation and I was delighted to accept. The Joseph & Elizabeth Quansah Foundation works hard to raise money to help excellent but needy students in Ghana to continue their education. I have now had the opportunity to meet with the other volunteers on the JEQ Board and every one of them is dedicated to growing the foundation and helping as many students as possible achieve their goals. All of the donations the foundation receives goes to the eligible students for tuition, housing and even laptops, if needed. I am proud to be a part of this organization.
