A Shelter for Cancer Families is far more than a much needed home, it is a place to heal and find hope and be blessed by the amazing people here. From a warm welcome upon arrival by the office through an amazing stay (with special dinners, Apt decorations, holiday door hangers, flowers, cards, and cheerful painted rocks in the landscaping!) we felt so cared for. This is such an Amazing place, and so needed for those of us traveling here. Without it, we couldn't afford to stay for extended treatment. We are so grateful for Everyone here and for All who contribute to make this possible. It is truly "home" when needed most, we are forever grateful. Thank you, you'll always have a special place in our hearts!

Having served both our Mother Faye G. and family, A Shelter for Cancer Families (ASCF) is AMAZING - in their Kindness, Love and Compassion and in providing such a special place to call "Home!". The Apt was delightful, safe, clean and well cared for. So many of us come from far away and without housing would not be able to remain here. The pleasant memories of staying here outshine the difficulties of diagnosis/treatment and gives us hope to be here in Houston at the best hospitals in the nation. We are forever grateful and cannot thank ASCF enough. May God continue to bless their amazing work, for it truly is life-changing!
