Review for Minnie’s Food Pantry, Plano, TX, USA
It can be very hard to run a charitable operation that doesn't just get the bare minimum done, but somehow Cheryl and her crew always do 210%. Themed food handouts, always a smile and hugs, toy drives at Christmas, even a SuperBowl box of goodies! It's the most uplifting place to be, not just because of its mission, but because of the people that carry it out every day. I am so proud to be a part of Minnie's volunteer family, and proud that my family has made it their organization of choice to give all of our efforts to on some level. Minnie's teaches you very quickly that there is no one way and not just one right way to put good energy out in the world. There is always something you can give, even if it's a smile, some intergrity, and a bit of pride.

Helping out at Thanksgiving was my first hands-on experience with Minnie's. Boxes upon boxes were made for a Thanksgiving MEAL - not just food people got rid of. The familys were given turkeys, mashed potatoes, veggies, rolls, gravy mix, and even dessert mixes. THE WORKS! It's amazing what the thoughtful details mean to the familys.

They are constantly growing in their mission, and more space will always feel like a necessary item on the list. There are so many to help, and it's hard to say no!
