I joined Udayan Care to explore the world of NGOs working with children's welfare and education. I had a great learning experience while working with Arush Kalra on the Alternative and After Care Project in Madhya Pradesh. I got to learn a lot about CCIs and after care which I was very unfamiliar with before this experience. I wrote session reports, impact stories and case studies for the Advocacy, Research and Training Department for the six month period. I was able to hone my professional skills as well as develop a deeper sense of empathy and understanding towards the children in CCIs. Udayan Care was extremely supportive during the entire time. Aditi Srivastava helped me out with all logistics and technical issues. Arush Kalra was a great mentor to work with. I had a wonderful experience.
