My experience serving at the orphanage in Quito was life changing and eye opening for me. I loved seeing and immersing in a new culture. I loved learning to love so many babies and children that literally NEEDED my love. I learned so much about being a mother and selfless sacrifice and how incredibly blessed I am. I wouldn't trade my experience for anything and would encourage anyone considering to put their life on hold and go! You won't regret it. I served for 3 months in 2012.
