My wife and I have owned dachshunds for over 40 years. We had one of our precious pups pass away and we were heartbroken. We had always gravitated to older dogs that no one wanted. We discovered MisFits Dog Rescue and they had a dachshund that had been abandoned on the streets of Canon City. This pup was in very sad shape and Sue Sterritt of MisFits had taken him in to give him a chance. His teeth were rotten and they removed 22. It was obvious that Ollie had been loved at one time and when we met him we knew we could provide him his forever home. MisFits and Sue Sterritt do an amazing job of saving the lives of so many abandoned animals. We’re proud to say that we know her. Terry & Susan Darby
