Speaking as someone living in a country where wolves have long since been hunted out, I know firsthand the effects of a land without keystone predators. The wolf conservation centre does an astounding job at rehabilitating the image of wolves, a daunting task even today. Wolves are absolutely critical in maintaining the natural beauty and biodiversity of the American continent, and current hunting laws are unsustainable when it comes to these beautiful creatures. I can think of no more important task in modern ecology than what the wolf conservation centre is doing.
