Our little girl mini schnauzer needed a buddy to play with. Carl needed a buddy and he had his heart set on a Rat Terrior. We watched and applied. One morning Carl asked how the adoptions leads were coming; I told him I didn't think we'd find one. Then WHAM John Paul was on my watch list. I quickly applied and then told Carl about his potential buddy. He was thrilled. We quickly heard from Lost Paws that we could meet John Paul. The attendants politely met us and took us to the viewing pen. I anticipated a rowdy trip home with John Paul and Snow (yes she went as well to meet her new buddy). Instead, John Paul went right to Carl's lap and sat right there on the trip home. Nothing was a problem. Well nothing until we couldn't agree on his new name. Our son , daughter-in-law, and 3 small children came to meet the "puppy". Names were tossed out and our daughter- in- law said, "What about Buddy". Of course! He was our Buddy.

Everybuddy (get the pun) needs a rest after a hard day in the office. He and Snow play, bring in sticks, and generally hang out with me during the day in my WFH office.
