Review for Usa Outreach Priority 1, Cedarhurst, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am trully amazed by the level of dedication and ability to make a real lasting impact that Priority-1 has. The level of humility that they exude is truly pure. They dont toot their own horn, they dont claim to be anything more than who they are, and that is the best. This organization is purely interested in helping people and looks for no thanks in return. Over the past 14 years that I have known them, I have seen them save thousands of lives and families, all for the sake of wanting to help. The impact they have had and the influence they have sparked in so many facets of the family, educational, and social networks across the entire globe is nothing less than astonishing. If I had a billion dollars to give, it would all go to Priority-1. They truly represent the best of humanities ability to be kind, loving, and true.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Schools, Colleges, Families, Communities, individuals, and my own life.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The self effacing way they do their work, without expecting anyone to notice them or thank them. Ive seen even the head of the organization going out in the middle of the night to help people in crisis. The sacrifice and involvement is boundless.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Dedicated, Loving and experts in the fields they work in.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Change the world. By healing our children, teens, young adults, and families they are sparking a chain reaction of positive change that will influence generations to come. With good funding they could improve our educational/family system even more.

Ways to make it better...

They had more funds to do the incredible work that they do.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Lack of sufficient funding. As much as they do, they could do so much more with better funding. When I asked them how they have continued on in this economy the answer was: "We do because we have to. People need us, how can we turn them away?"

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Donor & I have referred many teens and adults experiencing problems to this organization. I have donated thousands of dollars personally and I would trust them with my life.
