I had to cancel a flight with Frontier Airlines because my son was showing signs of covid before returning to college. When I canceled it they told me that I had 1 year to use the credits, and emailed me the details showing the same. 6 months later I tried to use the credits and was told that they actually expired after 90 days. Despite having it in writing that they had told me 12 months, they were not willing to let me use the credits. I called Clark Howard’s consumer hotline, and the woman who I spoke with suggested that I look on Elliott Advocacy’s website for executive contact information for Frontier. I emailed both executives and also submitted a claim with Elliott Advocacy. Within 24 hours I had received a credit from Frontier, and a follow up from Elliott Advocacy. While it turns out that I didn’t need for them to negotiate on my behalf, I truly appreciate the great work that Elliott is doing. Without their help, I would have lost the $438 credit and a lot of time. Thank you!
