During my experience with Forgotten cats, I learned that the Forgotten Cats organization is made up of over 700 compassionate people who work tirelessly to stop the creation of homeless cats by trapping and neutering homeless cats so that they can live out their life in a more humane way. This year (2022) over the last 6 months Forgotten Cats sterilized over 8000 cats and prevented the birth of over 14,000 homeless kittens this spring. In addition they rescue over 2000 friendly cats and kittens from a life of living on the streets each year and work diligently to find them stable, loving, homes. Not everyone falls into that category and thus, the negative reviews when applicants are denied adopting a Forgotten Cat. One thing is for sure, Forgotten Cats is the largest feral cat advocate in the country and sets the bar high to do so.
