Review for Youthlinc, Salt Lake City, UT, USA

Youthlinc provides great humantarian service opportunites for youth and adults. They encourage service in our community as well as in other countries. Humanitarian service trips are available in many parts of the world. This is a great opportunity to mold our youth and to help them develop care and concern for the less fortunate in our world and to give back to others when they are blessed with so much.

This is our family's first year with this organization. I have seen great compassion developing in the youth that serve with the Real Life Salt Lake City Teen Refugees and in the planning of their committees and projects for their humanitarian trips. The growth and development of youth leadership with this group is invaluable.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would like to see some group work projects to help the youth raise money for their trips. I think they could do group projects like cleaning the University of Utah stadium or other projects to help them earn money.

Role:  Donor & I am a donor for Youthlinc. My son is going on a Youthlinc trip to Cambodia this year. He is working on the economic committee that will provide cows for families so they can become productive citizens. He serves 6 hours weekly with Real Life Salt Lake .
