Though I have not had direct experience with the massacre at SandyHook, I am a parent who feels the pain of the parents whose children died.
As a parent, grandparent, and great-grandparent i waver not for a moment to tell anyone I can that guns in the hands of unstable mentally incompetent persons is America’s demise. Guns such as AR15s are war weapons not needed in the hands of youth or anyone as a “second amendment right to carry.” The students and teachers killed at the hands of non caring murderers has taken innocent lives. Yes, I believe taking away assault rifles would have saved many lives. Sandy Hook I stand by you.
