I am so grateful and beyond moved by the dedication of the Sandy Hook Promise organization and its founders. They are turning their tragedy into impactful action. And they’ve never quit, even in the face of the maddeningly stubborn resistance of our legislators to take action to prevent further needless deaths. I deeply respect their work to help educate students as well as other avenues of change-making. I’m grateful for this way to do at least something to push back the chaos and feelings of powerlessness I’m left with after yet another tragic mass shooting. Jump on board!
