I have never lost anyone I love to gun violence but as a mother and grandmother, I cannot even begin to contemplate what others are suffering every day. I grieve with the families of children and loved ones murdered by gun welding lunatics. We all should. That's were SHP comes in. This organization has heart and first hand experience with gun violence. They are passionately devoted to their mission of sensible gun laws, and accountability for those who continue to look the other way while the gun lobby, and the NRA poison the conversation with bullshit paying millions to keep politicians friendly. Please feel assured that these lovely, hard working people are behind the scenes, talking to students, parents & politicians, heroically spreading their message. Sadly, they're essential. I hope someday, we won't need them anymore. I can hope...
