I am amazed at the myriad services that Commonpoint provides. It truly fills many
necessary needs in the community. As a volunteer, I personally see the various offerings.

There is a group for young adults with special needs where numerous planned activities are held.Other times a trip is arranged , (parents or caregivers invited) . once to The Museum of Moving Image where the group enjoyed seeing and learning about film, tv, and video.

Last summer, Commonpoint opened a Pop-Up store in Bay Terrace. The main thrust was to provide business attire for aspiring workers and job applicants. The
store was replete with everything including shoes .

On Jewish Holidays food packages were delivered to people who were homebound , often including a token gift or card .

This is a small sampling of activities and services that this extraordinary organization offers. It really deserves to be lauded and recognized as one of the
top nonprofits.
