Review for Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences Inc, Doraville, GA, USA
My son was a heroin addict who entered MARR in October 2007. MARR not only treated my son for his addiction, but they helped me and my husband by educating us on the disease of addiction and how to love our son in a way that would help his recovery rather than harm it. We continue to volunteer in the MARR community and believe it to be the best program for recovery. I would highly recommend MARR to anyone who is suffering from the disease of addiction and/or their family members. They are compassionate and they understand how the disease progresses if left untreated. They work with the families as well as the patients so that they can become part of their loved one's solution rather than continue to be part of the problem.
I have been a volunteer at MARR for almost 3 years and being a part of this organization has helped me in my spiritual growth and enabled me to help others through my experiences! Thank you MARR!!

Through volunteering, I have personally witnessed the transformation of many souls who have entered the MARR program broken begin to see the light and become the person they want to be and their families knew they could be without drugs or alcohol. I've seen them tackle demons and come out on the other side shining!
