My child and I began volunteering at FFSR in the Spring of 2022. The first thing we noticed was how the well-cared for that the parrots are, and how knowledgeable the staff and volunteers are. The Sanctuary is indeed just that, a Sanctuary. The individual needs of each parrot is not only considered, but implemented for each parrot. There is a thorough adoption process, and I can say that the parrots best interest is of absolute priority. We will continue to volunteer here for many years to come. Absolutely love it here and love the parrots that we have formed meaningful relationships with.

The utmost care, compassion, and consideration for the clients (the birds) are absolutely number one priority and that is reflected in all aspects of the organization from the adoption process, the volunteer training, the cleanliness of the facility, and the hands-on approach with the staff and board members. Looking forward to volunteering here for a long time!
