Review for Minnie’s Food Pantry, Plano, TX, USA
MInnie's food pantry really is an extraordinary place and I have witnessed the generous giving of basic needs to people but even more exceptional - I have seen the feeding of the hearts of all who enter. Everyone, whether it is a client or a volunteer is greeted with such care and joy. Everyone is made to feel so valuable and affirmed. You can watch the transformation - the smile and relief that folks have as they leave and the sense that they are not alone - Minnie's is there - existing to help them thru their time of need. As I go thru my everyday life, I hear Cheryl saying "presentation is everything" and her favorite scripture "Go and Do" and I am transformed to do more and be more for others. Cheryl and Erica are a powerful team and they wisely draw from other community leaders to make Minnie's stronger. It is inspiring to watch them recognize a need and then go after the resources to fill that need - always lifting everyone up as they make it happen.

Wtnessing the feeding of literally thousands of families. Seeing the Christmas giving multiply like the loaves and fishes. Seeing volunteers, including my family, feel like it mattered that they showed up to contribute.

Keep the movement going so that more people in need can know of Minnie's and more people with resources can support Minnie's.
