I have been serving on the board of Crayons2Calculators for over a year now and the experience has been so rewarding. Seeing the positive impact we make for so many Durham teachers is amazing knowing that we only have 1 paid staff person and almost 100 dedicated volunteers! Supporting teachers is important in our world right now as many are burnt out and leaving the career field after surviving teaching though the COVID-19 pandemic.
