Review for The Jazz Gallery, New York, NY, USA
The Jazz Gallery is THE most important place for the development of jazz music in New York City. Virtually all of the major movements and innovations in jazz over the past decade were initiated at the Jazz Gallery. It has long had a reputation as an incubator of the finest talent, where musicians are encouraged to develop their craft, which by definition shapes the development of the wider art form in a profound and lasting way. The Jazz Gallery is directly responsible for shaping the NYC and therefore the global jazz music scene. Personally speaking, it has provided me with countless opportunities to perform and try out new ideas and new music. I have benefitted immensely from all of the opportunities the Jazz Gallery has provided me, and it has been an integral part of my development as an artist. I know that countless other musicians feel the same way. Simply the best and most important organization that exists for jazz music today, anywhere.

Review for The Jazz Gallery, New York, NY, USA
The Jazz Gallery is easily my favorite place to hear music or to play music in New York City. The work they do is outstanding in promoting new artists and it has become one of the most important cultural institutions in the city, if not the country. It has given many young jazz musicians a platform to experiment, yielding some of the most creative music happening today, which in turn has kickstarted many young careers. The integrity of what they do and the music always remains intact. A very important place.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
witnessing the growth of many jazz musicians who began their career at the Jazz Gallery, and having seen some exceptional music there.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
change nothing.
