I moved to Vero Beach as a 67 year old orphan - no friends or family here. But I did so knowing the Vero Beach was a thriving art community, and as an artist in my retired life, thought this place would be the place to be to be recognized and thrive as an artist. I learned that joining the Vero Beach Art Club was the best "first step" toward that goal. The continuous exposure with their regular art exhibits, and connections to galleries, and the vaunted museum in the city, were all steps in the direction of continued learning, better art technique, and many opportunities to succeed. The Vero Beach Art Club launched it - whatever it becomes in the future - and I am forever grateful to this wonderful, caring, professional Art Club! Mark San Souci
