My Nonprofit Reviews

Working with Save the Whales was an amazing experience. I had so much fun working with them and helping create learning opportunities for our youth. I volunteered in a number of differnet settings and events focused on public and student outreach. I got to work the very fun whale booth during Whale Fest and at a local art gallery. I learned so much, and it was so much fun getting the chance to teach others about the magic of our oceans. I also had the pleasure to help on beach field trips and teach kids about local shore birds. Along with that I got to attend a garden day, where we encouraged children to learn about their own local habitats, and encourage growth in their own community. We also did lots of trash clean ups, and made them into a fun and friendly competition! I honestly had so much fun, and I know the kids had a blast too. I will miss working with them, and hope that maybe I will have another opportunity to support this incredible non-profit in the future. Thank you Save the Whales!!!
