LCHT's staff are a tight knit group who seemingly have an endless amount of energy. The dedication to learning about and partnering with other organizations is top notch. If you or your organization wants to make a difference and help curb human exploitation, this is the group you want to connect with first. If you are reading this then you clearly want to get involved to some degree. Give LCHT a call.

I joined the LCHT Board because the organization makes a real difference in our community. LCHT's staff positively impacts the lives of our community members daily. LCHT's many lines of effort include connecting survivors to Resources, Research, Training, and a Leadership Development Program. Volunteering with LCHT is a great way to dive into the issue of Human Trafficking. Supporting LCHT with a donation directly impacts survivors and supports LCHT's mission to inform social change that will ultimately lead to end of human exploitation.

LCHT is a longtime networker in combating human trafficking. LCHT's many lines of effort include research, training, and connecting survivors to resources. But, their Leadership Development Program is something everyone interested in making a difference should consider. LDP is a great way to dive into the issue and find your your lasting place in helping out. I did and here I am.

LCHT’s collaborative work engages a vast community of diverse and passionate professionals working together to solve a complex problem and finding ways to protect the vulnerable from exploitation. I entered the LCHT internship program to learn more about how law enforcement can be better leveraged to identify survivors and bring traffickers to justice. Social change initiatives spear-headed by the collaborative community-based work of groups like LCHT are key components to dis-empowering traffickers, removing their opportunities, and exposing their activities. We all can do our part to affect change, beginning with educating ourselves about what trafficking is, how it happens, and what we can do to stop it. My work with LCHT has been instrumental in my education about this systemic issue.
