I have received food boxes from Feed America for 2 yrs now. Some were good some not so good. As of lately a lot of expired date food. Produce that is old. Sometimes lots of bakery items, toaster pastry’s . Like people don’t even think before gathering the food the truck brings to the places to give out the boxes. I appreciate going an getting a box I’m elderly fixed SS check does not go as far as needed. We need food we can make meals with. I received a Pork roast once an I was able divide that roast & make so many different meals with it.
Please look into what you are getting. Don’t just throw food at us We need food we can make into meals & I’m not asking for fancy just a better combination of food
