I spent two months as an interns at Udayan Care, and it was a fantastic experience working with such a reputable organization and professionals. Working as an intern at Udayan Care provided me with new opportunities and experiences. I had no prior experience working in a child care institution and was unaware of several aspects of child care, such as a Juvenile, a Child Care Facility, the JJ Act, and much more. My involvement with Udayan Care provided me with opportunities to learn about these issues, which are critical in society and especially for vulnerable children. Working in the research, advocacy, and training department allowed me to put my knowledge and talents to the test. I was able to go beyond my core academic knowledge and learn something new after working with Udayan Care. Udayan Care offers a platform for people to get involved in the highly sensitive and crucial issues that society is dealing with when it comes to vulnerable children. I was fortunate enough to learn about and work for Udayan Care, where I was able to observe the operations of an NGO and gain new insights. The staff at Udayan are friendly and helpful, and they guided me whenever I encountered challenges. Overall, Udayan Care instilled new skills, increased confidence, and allowed for some effective unlearning. All of the employees are extremely kind and always willing to help me. Working with such people improves my ability to operate in such a setting, which will undoubtedly assist me in future career. During my internship, it was a beautiful journey of learning and creating relationships with all of the people I worked with and under. I owe a debt of gratitude to my boss, who was always willing to lend a hand or provide advice whenever I needed it.
