I have been honored to support the RESERVATION ANIMAL RESCUE, and have put them as a beneficiary in my IRA. The cause means so much to me because of my deep love for animals as well as a family kinship with the Native Americans. My paternal great-grandparents were teachers on a North Dakota reservation, and their children grew up with the Native American families there. I have enjoyed my interactions with Joe Langenderfer, Director of Planned Giving, who has shared my interest in this cause, and who is a warm-hearted individual. I am also grateful to Dr. Carol H. Holgate, Chairperson of Reservation Animal Rescue who heads up the organization and who sends me newsletters concerning the issues of RAR on a regular basis. I highly commend this wonderful charity and am grateful to know that my contributions as well as future distributions will be able to sustain and help the animals on the reservations who are especially vulnerable due to a challenging need for resources.

I have always had an interest in helping the Native American cause after several trips to the Southwest years ago. I was able to spend time driving through and occasionally stopping at Indian reservations where I experienced the impoverished circumstances of the peoples who lived there. Since I have a deep love for animals and eventually learned about the plight of the animals that lived or wandered through the reservations, I decided to start sending donations to RESERVATION ANIMAL RESCUE to help out with the rescue and fostering, spaying, neutering, and medical needs of the reservation animals. I have put this charity as a beneficiary in my IRA will as well. I have been very happy with communication follow-up from both Joe Langenderfer, Director of Planned Giving in Partnership with Native Americans, and Dr. Carol H. Holgate, Chairperson of Reservation Animal Rescue. I highly recommend this charity, and am seeing the positive effects that donations are having with helping the animals on the reservations during these stressful times as well as going forward into the future.
