I have known them for years and they have always been super helpful. The latest: My disabled rescue cat had a severe urinary tract blockage. The emergency vet bills were estimated to be about $700-800 which I could not afford. Defensa helped set up a fund raiser the same day and agreed to cover the vet bills immediately so that the treatment would not be delayed. Through Defensa, all of the emergency bills were covered, and the cat is doing well.
