Assistance League of Kansas City is a wonderful organization that does so many great things in our community! I continue to be amazed at the types of things they do and how many people they are able to help. I am especially impressed with how they have organized their Assisteens group which includes young adults in our community giving of their time and talent. ALKC is teaching our youth what it means to be a contributing member of society. Teens come together for all sorts of service projects and ALKC coordinates the projects on a monthly basis. My daughter has been involved with this program for a number of years and definitely understands the importance of giving back!
