The Nepal Orphans Home must be one of the happiest places I have ever visited. I know this may sound corny, but it is a house of love. It is full of energetic children, anxious to learn and the most dedicated teachers. I went to a "Happy Children's Day" celebration. The children were dancing and having so much fun together. The adults who attend classes are like lifelog friends, joining together, ready and eager to learn. The center has such a wonderful community feel to it. I visited at the same time a nurse from Britain was visiting as a new volunteer. We were both so nervous about our long journey to the NOH. It was more than well worth it. What a great experience! Everyone is well cared for at the NOH. It is an enriching, wholesome center.
