I met founder Susan Kayne via a text message one morning at about 5:00 AM. An in danger TB mare in a kill pen was misidentified as my horse, my horse being a horse bred by Susan. Susan contacted me to see if this was, indeed, my horse. I replied no, my horse was safe in her stall at the stable and since I was going to see her for an appointment she had, I sent a photo. After this encounter, I decided to look into Unbridled to learn more about their charter of saving at risk thoroughbred mares. Soon after I became an ongoing supporter. I appreciate and admire not only the dedication to the actual rescue of the horses, but also the superb individualized ongoing care that each horse receives. The care is top notch and the horses also receive love and appreciation for just being horses.
