Hi, I am Dr.Debashis Dey Adhikary, a medical Doctor and working with Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari since 2005. With a mobile medical van, we serve the tribal people dwelling in the remotest areas of Arunachal Pradesh, a north eastern hilly state of India. IDRF supported our health activities from last eight years. They had donated us the mobile medical van and funded us for many health projects. With their financial support we run a nutritional program very successfully for three years. In 2021, we started anemia detection and eradication program and till now successfully treated more then 1000 poor tribal anemic women. IDRF sponsored this program also. They even supported us to run a cataract detection and surgery camps for two years.
IDRF supported us to build a charitable medical center with a pathological laboratory to serve the poor and needy tribal patients in Tinsukia, Assam which is very near to Arunachal Pradesh.
IDRF is very transparent and professional. We really appreciate their dedication and commitment towards the underprivileged section of the society. We feel proud to be associated with such a great nonprofit.
