As a small business with a long history, in a small town on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, we are grateful to be able to continue our story because of the kind assistance we received during the upheaval of the COVID pandemic, including the S2T Grant from BINC. With the help of our third generation, this family business continues to serve our community of readers and seekers of knowledge. In 2022 our company celebrates 60 years since the founding of our publishing division, Petroglyph Press, and the 37th anniversary of the launch of our bookstore, Basically Books. The struggles of the past 2 years have been rewarded with the loyalty of our customers and friends, the increasing awareness within our community of the importance of shopping local, and a renewed optimism for the future.
