going as a volunteer i had no idea what to expect but it was wonderful. i felt like i did so much and haevenever worked harder in my life.

youthink has been a great experience. it teaches young people to go outside of themselves and think of others. it teaches how to open up to a new world of different culture and most of all it teaches that just showing you care gives others hope. i volunteer at a middle school in a underrepresented community with a book exchange program and i have never seen children so happy to own their own books. i only hope that when i go to cambodia to help that i make some kind of a difference to someone.
